mGlacius Loot: Ze brother of Crimotaku

Loot arrived one day and found out it belonged to neither my Ebay crazy housemates or myself, but in fact, it was addressed to my brother. Being a console gamer lover (not my fault!), he bought his own Square Enix/Konami Metal Solid Peacewalker: Big Boss (Naked Snake). To me, its like magic, coz he got really motivated to take pics of his latest loot. This is a bit different, because this one happens to be his life long favourite! Which is somehow different when compared to crazy otakus who buy everything kawaii whether he needs it or not. Haha! I choose my loot, because i have watched/read it and liked them characters, pretty much runs the same with my bro. The good thing is, now i can borrow a ‘Naked Snake’ when i want ^^

These pics were altered using Adobe Light Room 2. Spot the difference? Not really, just tweaking and patching it up =3

The horribad FREE loot given by fake Stormtrooper ADIDAS sneaker sellers ^^

Yep! Those were the bribes given by the anonymous fake sneaker sellers that try to sell the Limited Edition ADIDAS X STAR WARS sneakers online. If you read my journeys as the Otaku Trooper or at least browsed the Crimotaku/UOW blog, u’d see the massive difference. The internet is an awesome place to find what u cannot find  near u, but always remember there will always be scammers in our world. Cheap retarded schmucks who try to exploit the trust of our internet community and con the world of their money.

There will be rempits (Malaysian gangsters), gangsters, and degenerates, but its human nature to be greedy .. and stupid. But thats just how the world works in a nutshell ^^

Nendo/Figma Tales: Flash

Supanova Sydney 2010 took place from the 18th to the 20th June, on the 22nd i was scheduled to fly back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend to some legal personal business. It was last minute planning and it had to be done. Going back to Kuala Lumpur all fatigued and all that, i met up with the Danny Choo readers in KL and bought them lunch at Pizza Hut ^^ Within those two short days i bought some upgrades to my armor and camera. Came back, ended up buying a wireless remote (cheaper than Malaysia, coz its original) .. and with the combined effort of my gorilla tripod, that drive of inspiration turned into this Nendo/Figma Tale ^^ Titled FLASH!

Remember when taking pics of cosplayers, not too much flash! Its annoying!

If anyone wondered why these pics were like this, its because it was a different camera and it was meant to be this way. Like duh, there are cameras that took pictures in 4:3, ya know? But we all know that now, dont we? ^^ Its not like i took pics with these using my eyeballs and USB-ed these images out of my ear to the laptop. There is always a reason in everything i do and say, if i wanted help, i’d ask for it. Simple and easy like 1-2-3 => And dont even try to give me the idea to crop it to a widescreen layout, i wasnt born yesterday. I take pics as it is, then Photoshop/LightRoom them. Its what i do!

Otaku Trooper: Trip to KL / DC Comrades / Gadgets

Kuala Lumpur, prob the biggest city in Malaysia. Country of humid Summer-like weather with monsoons. I visited KL during the time of the monsoon so it rained a bit. But like some foreigners there, especially when u adapted to Tasmanian cold, we just loved the warm rain. Not too hot, not too cold!

Sharing some pics of my journey back to KL while meeting up with some of the otaku comrades ^^ During my 2 day stay in KL, i wasted no time getting things running, from meetups to getting loot!

The people i met were: WiseFreeman, ZamsJournal, lerrymaru, KururugiSeiryuu, Laniemon

Landed in LCCT (one of the two airports in Malaysia) and headed straight for Port Dickson. This was my view.

One thing i didnt notice was .. red lights means its full, green means the lot is vacant! KL is seriously infested with cars, and this makes car parking way better!

The loot i found at Lowyat Plaza. Good place for electronics. Bought some stuff for my camera and armor upgrades and etc

The DC Reader/Otaku Comrades i met in Kuala Lumpur. Ended up having lunch at Pizza Hut near Lot10. The picture is blur coz i asked someone to take a pic for us, i knew i should have given him a crash course!

When u see detail .. U DO SEE DETAILS .. makes me wanna clean my room again! The dust of 10 days when i was gone since Supanova >.<

And thats about it, a quick trip back home, and back to my humble home of high tech-ness. Sometimes i wonder how can they stand doing business with fax machines and all that. I mean, its the age of PDF and email attachments and such! Well, I love Malaysia has a hometown, but it seriously needs to get into the tech savvy world >.<

Nendo/Figma Tales: Nani Nani?

Its been long scheduled, that in preparation of Supanova Sydney 2010 (18th-20th June), DC reader MajorGravy aka Twitter User, @DeidaraGS,  will be staying at my place for <2 weeks. Coming over to swap animes and such and also help work on his cosplay project for Supanova Sydney 2010. He may have already posted this on FigureFM, but i am reposting it my way ^^ The world is seen differently thru different eyes, and this is how i see it =)

Oh! That’s what!

We went out to all my known sources that helped me collect materials for my Stormtrooper armor today. Discovered a couple of handy shops new to me as well ^^ Crafting something is always fun, as long as you have a deadline and a mission! And most importantly, a plan! Creating cosplays can really boggle one’s mind when it comes to crafting and making it practical ^^

Supanova Sydney 2010: DC/FigureFM Meetup!

Simple really! Looking to meet other DC/FigureFM readers in Sydney! Its always nice to meet fellow comrades at conventions! This wont be the first time i will be advertising this. Once every week till i fly off from Tasmania to Sydney then i would start communicating via tweets! Going there with another DC reader and a cosplayer from Perth ^^

Goal? Meet up, go around the convention, chat, take pics .. and etc etc etc! ^^ And adding each other to blogroll/twitter/facebook and etc!

How to find me?
Look for a non yet 501st Legion registered Stormtrooper with a SOS Brigade Armband / Judgement Armband .. or both! I would be the Stormtrooper prob going nuts wanting to take pics with every cosplayer i see! I also will be hanging around with the 501st Legion booth to mingle with fellow troopers as well!

If you are cheeky enough to try it. Prepare a Carameldansen mp3 to your mobile/mp3 player to catch my attention ^^
